Following a period of delays due to on-site contractors taking longer than agreed to complete the building work, the café and soft play facilities opened its doors to visitors for the first time on 3 May.
Since then, the facilities have been attracting more and more people as time has gone on and has been very well received by children and parents alike. Churchill Catering is responsible for managing the facilities, and their staff are eager to welcome you for a drink and something to eat in the café, or to bring your child or children to the soft play and watch them as they explore the three storeys of fun!
Meadowbank is also the headquarters of Surrey FA, the governing body for grassroots football in the County. The ground now plays host to a wide variety of football and community activities, in addition to the Surrey FA County Cup Finals. You can find more information about the cost of booking the superb 3G pitch or to hire one of the available meeting rooms by visiting their website www.surreyfa.com/about/meadowbank-football-ground or email email@example.com.
The new facilities are now the home to the Bostik League’s Dorking Wanderers, and the Club will be moving from its current Westhumble ground for the 2018/19 season and beyond. Wanderers are hosting a grand opening at the stadium on 8 July, which promises to be fun for the whole family.
