How to Find Us

Meadowbank Park is located behind St Martin’s Walk Shopping Centre in Dorking, Surrey.

From Dorking High Street, enter St Martin’s Walk Shopping Centre and make your way down to the lower courtyard area of the centre and down the steps. With M&S behind you, the pathway to Meadowbank Park is located diagonally to the left, between some flats and the lower end of the car park. Follow this pathway downwards beside the car park (you will see Dorking Wanderers Football Stadium ahead). Turn right and continue to walk alongside the stream. Meadowbank Park is right ahead.

By Car

From the A24

From the A24, turn into Dorking from the cockerel roundabout. Drive past the Dorking Halls on your left then into Dorking High Street. In the centre of town is the White Horse Hotel on your left, turn right into Mill Lane opposite. Parking is available at St Martins Walk shopping centre, accessed via a slip road at the bottom of the straight section of Mill Lane.

On the A25

Enter Dorking on the A25 and turn into Mill Lane in the centre of town, opposite the White Horse Hotel. Parking is available at St Martins Walk shopping centre, accessed via a slip road at the bottom of the straight section of Mill Lane.

Parking

Parking is available at St Martin’s Walk shopping centre. Type in the postcode RH4 1DX for directions. There is parking for just under 400 vehicles. The entrance to the park is a small footpath sloping down towards the lower end of the car park between the block of flats and the lower car park.

Parking is also available in other Dorking car parks.

Dorking has three train stations: Dorking Main, Dorking Deepdene and Dorking West.

From Dorking Station (12 mins – 0.6 miles)

Walk towards the dual-carriageway then turn left. You will pass Dorking Deepdene Station on your left and then come to a set of traffic lights. Cross over at the traffic lights to London Road, where the Esso garage is located. Continue for a few minutes and then turn right onto a path which runs alongside Tutt’s Close, follow this and you will arrive at Meadowbank Park walking alongside the pond.

From Deepdene Station (9 mins – 0.5 miles)

Cross over the dual-carriageway at the traffic lights. Continue for a few minutes and then turn right at onto a path which runs alongside Tutt’s Close, follow this and you will arrive at Meadowbank Park walking alongside the pond.

From Dorking West (8 mins – 0.4 miles)

Exit the station into Station Road or Ranmore Road. Walk down until you reach a parade of four shops on your left with some parking at the front (this is known as the Triangle Stores), walk across in front of these shops and cross the road (Chalkpit Lane). You will see a pathway, running straight ahead, just a few steps to the right. Follow this path straight for a couple of minutes, it leads directly to Meadowbank Park.
